	February 1, 2013 On Friday, January 25, 2013, Melanie Merkle Atha was elected to the Board of Directors of the Global Collaborative Law Council, an international group of professionals who are dedicated to advancing the use of Collaborative Practice in civil conflicts. Ms. Atha will serve as secretary to the group for 2013. On May 17, 2013, at 8:30 a.m., she will present “Use of Interdisciplinary Collaborative Practice to Resolve Probate and Estate Disputes” to the Probate and Estate Planning Conference, which will be held at the Hilton Birmingham Perimeter Park Hotel. January 17, 2013 Leonard Wertheimer and Anna Buckner presented "Tools of the Trade - Estate and Gift Techniques Following Recent (and Possible) Law Changes" to the Estate Planning Council in Birmingham, Alabama on January 3, 2013.
