Benjamen T. Rowe
Ben Rowe is a partner and the senior litigator in the firm’s Mobile office. He specializes in civil litigation and is listed in Alabama Super Lawyers and Best Lawyers in America and Best of Class in Best of U.S. in the Personal Injury, Products Liability, Commercial Litigation, and Insurance Law categories.
His practice includes the representation of defendants in personal injury and wrongful death cases, manufacturers and others in products liability litigation, the representation of insurers in first party litigation (including bad faith and declaratory judgment actions), insurance agencies in cases of alleged fraud and negligence, businesses in commercial disputes, professionals in errors and omissions litigation, contractors and others in construction litigation, well as environmental and ERISA litigation, and the defense of employers against claims of discrimination. He is frequently asked to mediate matters in dispute.
Mr. Rowe served as 2006 President of the Mobile Bar Association. He is a member of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, the American Law Institute, and the Mobile (Paul Brock) American Inns of Court. He has served 9 years as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Alabama State Bar, 12 years as a member of the Executive Committee of the Mobile Bar Association, and 2 years as president of the Mobile Inns of Court. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Alabama Law Foundation and a founding member of the Atticus Finch Society. He is the President of the Mobile Bar Foundation.
Mr. Rowe holds B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Alabama where he was a member of the Managing Board of the Alabama Law Review, Order of the Coif, and Omicron Delta Kappa.
