February 11, 2010: David S. Dunkle, a partner in our firm who practices in the areas of tax and employee benefits, will speak at the Pensions & Investments Defined Contribution Conference held at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort in Miami, FL on March 7-9, 2010.
Mr. Dunkle will address the Plan Sponsor Round Table for defined contribution plans that are under $1 billion in assets. Topics will include self-directed investment and brokerage accounts, the use of plan annuity options, qualified directed investment accounts, plan litigation, and Washington's proposed legislation. Sponsors of the Conference include Russell Investments, Prudential, Fidelity Investments, and Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
February 4, 2010: C. Fred Daniels spoke to the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham. The seminar was entitled: "Now You See It, Now You Don't--Practical Magic Using Grantor Trusts".
January 12, 2010: Sandy G. Robinson was

November 2-3, 2009:
G. Thomas Sullivan will conduct a seminar entitled
Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Most Effective Use of Legal
Services for the American College of Healthcare Executives in
San Antonio, Texas. He will conduct the same seminar again next year
in St. Petersburg, Florida and Seattle, Washington.
The seminar will focus on alternative dispute resolution and how the
healthcare executive can be a more efficient utilizer of legal
services.
