Melanie Merkle Atha to Serve at Annual Global Collaborative Law Conference

Melanie Merkle Atha will be on the faculty at the 13th Annual Global Collaborative Law Conference in Tampa, Florida, at the Hillsborough County Bar Association Headquarters on September 7-9, 2017. Ms. Atha is currently serving her second term as President of the Global Collaborative Law Council, a collaborative practice group dedicated to bringing collaborative dispute resolution to all areas of civil law conflicts.

Melanie Merkle Atha to Speak at Alabama State Bar Annual Meeting

On Thursday, July 13, at 9:45 a.m., Melanie Merkle Atha will be part of a panel presenting “Alabama Dispute Resolution:  How We Are Using It” at the 2017 Alabama State Bar Annual Meeting at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama.  The panel is sponsored by the Alabama Center for Dispute Resolution and the Dispute Resolution Section of the ASB.  Ms. Atha will be updating the Bar on use of Collaborative Practice to resolve conflicts in Alabama.

R. Boyd Miller – Appointment

R. Boyd Miller was recently appointed by the Alabama State Bar to serve on the Alabama Supreme Court Commission on Dispute Resolution. This is for a three-year-term expiring on December 31, 2019.
