R. Boyd Miller

Boyd Miller was born in Mobile, Alabama. He attended law school at the University of Alabama School of Law, graduating in 1979. While attending law school, he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Alabama Law Review. Upon graduation from law school, he began practicing labor and employment law in the Birmingham, Alabama office of Cabaniss & Johnston.

In 1983, Mr. Miller transferred to the Mobile, Alabama office of Cabaniss & Johnston. Since that time he has handled a wide variety of civil litigation and now primarily practices in the areas of personal injury defense and workers’ compensation law. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in Personal Injury Litigation and Workers’ Compensation Law. He is a member of the Mobile Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar, and the Bars of the Supreme Court of the United States, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama.
