J. Wesley
Fain
J. Wesley Fain is an associate in
the firm’s Birmingham office. He was born June 29, 1984 in
Albany, Georgia. While at The University of Montevallo he was
awarded the Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award, which is the highest
award given to a male graduate.
In law school, Wesley was the
associate editor for the Cumberland Law Review as well as the
recipient of the Outstanding Senior Member Award, an award voted
on by his peers. He was a Judge Abraham Caruthers Fellow and a
nine-time Scholar of Merit Recipient.
Wesley is the author of "Expansive Capabilities Of 'Mother Hubbard Clause' Key For Resources Play Leases," The American Oil & Gas Reporter, December 2011 and The
Constitutionality of Alabama’s Tender Years Statute under Crawford, 40 Cumb. L. Rev. 919 (2010). He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
