William K. Thomas

Ken Thomas is a partner who regularly works on civil litigation and employment cases in both the Birmingham and Mobile offices. He maintains an office in both locations.

He has over 30 years of experience in civil litigation, employment disputes and general labor law. He has litigated cases involving employment discrimination, public entity employment law and wage and hour disputes. He has also represented clients in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.

In recognition of Ken’s expertise in this area, he has been named in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of Labor and Employment Law.

He graduated from the United States Capitol Page School (1967) and David Lipscomb College (1971). He attended the University of Alabama School of Law and graduated in 1977. He served as Associate Editor of the Alabama Law Review and received the John B. Knox Legal Scholarship Prize, the Henderson M. Sommerville Prize for Excellence in Legal Writing and the M. Leigh Harrison Award. He was named a Hugo Black Scholar.

He is a member of the Birmingham and Mobile Bar Associations and the Alabama State Bar.
