Herbert H. West, Jr.
Mr. West received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama (B.S. summa cum laude, 1984) and his law degree from Vanderbilt University (J.D. 1987).
Mr. West focuses primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending and related general and strategic business advice, including corporate governance, dispute resolutions, crisis management and strategic planning, corporate activities and transactions. He regularly represents both public and private companies in a variety of matters and has significant experience in real estate matters.
Mr. West is listed in Best Lawyers in America for Corporate Law. He is currently a member of the Birmingham and American Bar Associations and the Alabama State Bar, serving as President of the Young Lawyers Section of the Alabama State Bar in 1994-1995.
