Jarrod J. White
Jarrod White is a partner in the firm’s Mobile office. His diverse practice includes defense of personal injury and consumer fraud actions, product liability cases, workers’ compensation and retaliatory discharge actions, commercial and business litigation, and oil and gas issues and eminent domain actions. Jarrod has extensive experience in complex construction litigation and disputes. Jarrod has successfully tried numerous jury and bench trials in state and federal court and has been involved in many arbitrations and administrative actions. Jarrod’s practice also includes governmental relations and regulatory compliance and permitting.
Jarrod serves as a neutral on the Commercial and Construction Panels of the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). Jarrod also regularly serves as an advocate in arbitration matters. He is registered on the Alabama State Court Mediation Roster and the AAA’s Mediation Roster. Jarrod is the author of Email@Work.com: Employer Monitoring of Employee E-Mail, 48 Ala. L. Rev. 1079 (1997), discussed in Konop v. Hawaiin Airlines, Inc., 302 F.3d 868 (9th Cir. 2002), and United States v. Steiger, 318 F.3d 1039, 1050 (11th Cir. 2003). Jarrod is a member of the Alabama, Mississippi, and Mobile Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, The CLM (Claims and Litigation Management Alliance), Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, the ABA Construction Section, and serves as the firm’s representative for Manufacture Alabama. He is active in the community, including Kiwanis, Restore Mobile, the Chamber of Commerce (serving on its Government Affairs Committee), and Leadership Mobile.
